Grover C. Carpenter†

Private Carpenter was from Demorest, Georgia. He was stationed at Camp Gordon, Atlanta, Georgia, for military training. He was attached to 19th Company, Camp Gordon September Automatic Replacement Draft.
Embarked for over-seas September 14, 1918. After arriving in England,
he contracted pneumonia, which resulted in his death, October 7th, 1918.
