Hilyard Littleton Anderson
December 25, 1922 - April 30, 2003 (Age 80)
Dates of Service: February 24, 1943 - February 4, 1946
He served Stateside, in Europe and in Japan during and immediately after WWII. Probably like a lot of Habershamians, he worked on building Camp Toccoa prior to being drafted.
He was discharged as a corporal from Company B, 386th Infantry Regiment. He arrived in Europe just as the war there ended and was immediately shipped to Japan until that war was over and then served in the occupation forces a short while.
