Dean Harrison Green, Jr.

February 10, 1922 - January 8, 1999 (Age 76)

Dean H. Green, Jr. joined the United States Marines on April 5th, 1941 . He did his basic training at Parris Island, SC. During, his service time, he was promoted to Drill Instructor. He served in World War II in the South Pacific (Guam) and also in Iceland. He was discharged on September 29, 1945.

He married Mary Frances Smith on Jan. 20, 1945. Upon his discharge, he took a carpentry course at North Georgia Technical School, Clarkesville, Georgia. Later, he
started his own cabinet shop and built many beautiful cabinets until he retired. During this time, he also answered the call of God and became a preacher. He pastored several churches during his years of ministry. During their fifty-four years of marriage, They were blessed with eight children, in- laws, and numerous grands and great-grandchildren. He was born on Feb. 10, 1922 and died on January 8, 1999.
