Thomas B. Perkins
Thomas Bell Perkins enlisted in the US Army on August 1, 1942. Following his service, he became a pharmacist and was a registered pharmacist for over 50 years. He owned Dixie wholesale Drug Company in Phenix City, AL and North Highland Pharmacy in Columbus, GA. He served as a Trustee of the Pharmacy School at Mercer University in Macon, GA. Tom B. Perkins is perhaps best known as the Mayor of Waverly Hall, GA; a position he held for 28 years.
