Clifford Scott Mewborne
LTC Clifford S. Mewbome was raised in Mt. Airy, Georgia and he Combat entered the Army in September of 1987 at Fort Jackson, SC where he completed Basic Combat Training. He then graduated with honors from Advanced Individual Training at Fort Gordon, GA and was awarded the MOS 31C, Single Channel Radio Operator. Upon his ETS, he joined the National Guard and attended the University of Florida where he received his commission as a Distinguished Military Graduate in the Adjutant General's Corps in 1993.
His previous assignments include! 501st Signal BN, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY; 18th Personnel Group (Airborne), XVIll Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, NC; Louisville Military Entrance and Processing Station; U.S. Army Element, NATO, Heidelberg, Germany; V Corps GI, Heidelberg, Germany; 1st Personnel Command, Schwetzingen, Germany; HQ, SHAPE, Belgium; HQ, TRADOC AG, Fort Eustis, VA and USATC & FJ GI, Fort Jackson, SC.
LTC Mewbome has held various duty positions from "Wire Dog''; Platoon Leader; Company XO; Battalion SI; Company Commander (twice); MEPS Operations Officer; V Corps
G1 Assignment Officer; 1st PERSCOM S3; NATO, Chief Personnel Branch; TRADOC AG, Chief Readiness, Distribution and Assignment Division; Army Training Center and Fort Jackson GI.
His military/civilian education includes Basic Combat Training, 31C AIT, AG OBC, NBC Officers Course, AG OAC, Forces Staff College. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Campbell University.
