Willie Herman White

July 7, 1925 - February 21, 1985 (Age 59)

Was a member of company F, 114th Infantry Regiment, attached to the 7th Army, and served overseas in England, France, Germany and Austria. Loaded, aimed and faired rifle to destroy enemy personnel. Went out on patrols a night into enemy-held territory, to gather information on enemy strength and installation. Did guard duty, mostly prisoners of war. Had good knowledge in the use and care of small weapons.
